The Raptor Runners competed in the Region 2 meet on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Lyons High School. This meet determined who qualified to compete at State. The top 15 individuals and top 40% of teams (6 teams of 15) advanced to the state meet.

Nick Kadlec was the lone Silver Creek runner to qualify this year. Congratulations Nick!

Directions:
From I-25, take HWY 402 (Exit 255) west approximately 5.5 miles to Roosevelt Ave. (HWY 287 is approx. 5 miles from I-25, Roosevelt Ave is immediately after the railroad tracks west of HWY 287). Turn right on Roosevelt Ave (it turns into Railroad Ave) and travel approximately 0.5 miles. The parking lot will be on the east side of Railroad Avenue.

Awards:
Conference championship plaques will be awarded to the top team in each varsity race.

Individually the top 7 varsity runners for boy’s and girls will be considered First Team All-Conference. The next seven will be Second Team All-Conference. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 10 runners in each race (varsity and JV).

Take the diagonal to the Foothills Parkway and exit at Baseline and go right/west. At Broadway, take a left/south and continue for the next few miles, beyond Table Mesa,

to Grinell and go right/west to the first stop sight and turn left on Knox. Teams will be dropped off in the open field on the right, then continue up to one of the schools to find parking.
