The Silver Creek runners competed in Regionals (Class 4A, Region 2) on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Lyons High School.

The Boys team finished 14th out of 14 teams.
The Girls team finished 12th out of 14 teams.

4:20 – 4A Girls (Run 9, score 5) 

4:45 – 2A Girls (Run 7, score 3)

Directions:

Lyons High School’s address is 100 South 2^nd Ave., Lyons, CO, 80540. From I-25, take Highway 66 west past Longmont. After you go through the light at the intersection of Highway 66 and Highway 36, you will continue less than 1 mile. Take a left immediately after the “Welcome to Lyons” sandstone sign and cross the bridge over the river, proceed to the 3-way stop sign and follow directions from the parking crew. 

 

The Region meet is the qualifier for the State Meet. There will be 15 teams attending: (Broomfield, Erie, Fort Morgan, Frederick, Greeley Central, Longmont, Mountain View, Niwot, Northridge, Roosevelt, Silver Creek, Skyline, Sterling, Thompson Valley, Windsor).

Qualifying for state:

40% full teams (top 6 teams)

All athletes who finish in the top 15 places

Full teams must consist of 5 to 7 members (score “5”). Members of full teams must start and finish race to be included in percentage counts.
