4A BOYS RESULTS
The Silver Creek Girls Cross-Country team along with two boys on the team competed in the Colorado State Cross-Country Championships (Class 4A) on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

NEW GROUND
For the first time in the program's 12-year history, the Silver Creek girls qualified a full team for the state cross country championships.
In their first state appearance as a team, the Raptors took 17th-place.
Freshman Mikayla Gaffney was the first Raptors runner to cross the
finish line at Norris-Penrose Event Center, doing so in 20 minutes, 27.9
seconds to take home 22nd-place.
Raptors sophomore Maiya Jazwierska finished 98th with a time of
22:10.2, two places behind fellow sophomore Taylor Stinson, who
completed the course in 22:10.0.
"I think it went well. Our whole team gave everything we had and we
went out there to run our best race," Jazwierska said. "I think we all
did that."
Raptors senior Allison Howlett placed 119th in 22:29.4, sophomore
Sage Madden placed 128th in 22:36.9, junior Samantha Koski placed 151st
in 23:12.5 and junior Brissa Ramirez placed 164th in 23:38.4.
In the 4A boys race, Raptors freshman Andrew King placed 60th in
18:03.5 and senior Connor Christoffersen placed 111th in 18:33.8.
